About Exposé:

We are a cultural association within street dance that produces events within BIPOC LGBTQ+ culture. Based in Västra Götalands we have been curating and producing events focusing on the promotion and representation of underground art forms such as Punking/Whacking and Ballroom events since 2016. Exposé have collaborated with organizations such as West Pride, Euro Pride, Ballroom Xchange, Gunnebo Slott, Dans och Teater Festivalen, and other actors locally and internationally. We offer a series of events that promote these artforms in alternative, open spaces through discussions, research, movement labs, workshops, performances, film, and competition. We also focus on the creation of archival materials and documentation of this developing culture in Västra Götalands. In 2021, Exposé has also produced the award winning dance film, “Elements, Beautiful Untrue Things” a collaboration with Mölndals Gunnebo Slott and supported by Mölndal Stads work grant.
