☘︎ Workshop: Artistic Approaches to Analog Circuits
Discover the artistic potential of analogue electronic circuits in this hands-on workshop led by Korean composer and sound artist Ji Youn Kang.
Participants will learn the basics of electronic circuits and experiment with components such as logic gates and capacitors to create unexpected sonic results. Together, you'll explore how simple electronic systems can become unique musical instruments through creative experimentation.
No previous experience in music or electronics is required.
Please bring: Any conductive objects and an open mind.

Following the workshop, Ji Youn Kang presents a live performance exploring the relationship between acoustic instruments, analogue electronics, and digital sound.
Ji Youn Kang is a Korean composer, performer, and sound artist based in The Hague. Her work investigates the relationship between musical and physical space through multichannel sound systems, analogue electronics, and live performance. She teaches at the Institute of Sonology at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague and is a researcher at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz.
