What Happens When I Try to Remember
Movement workshop + Artist talk
Ugandan artist, choreographer and researcher Robert Ssempijja shares works and processes from his practice, and introduces The Ugandan Pathology, a framework for approaching Uganda's past and present through artistic research and making.
The session opens with a movement workshop, followed by a talk and conversation about how memory, objects and material can hold what is hard to put into words.

This session consists of a 30-45 minute movement workshop, followed by an hour-long talk (including Q&A and discussion).
